"Damn! Miss, that's the pendant! The one the old madam kept stored in the deepest part of her safe!" Emma exclaimed upon seeing it.

Zara looking at the ruby pendant, glowing as if there was blood in it, smiled as well as she looked at it.

She knew about this pendant more than anyone else. Her grandmother loved telling her about the legend associated with the pendant. Back then, she listened to it with vigor. After all, being a child, anything and any story can move you easily.

However, what she knew was that the pendant was priceless, and it was a family heirloom from her grandmother. Something that she had never wanted to part with and yet it was given to her. What was her grandmother thinking?
