Capítulo 49: Ending the Dragon Meet and Greet

As we dashed across the lake, my sight of the island became clearer. There were hundreds of them surrounding a podium. Upon the podium, there was a man clothed in golden robes with golden hair.

We appeared at the edge of the crowd, and some of the dragons glanced at us, but they didn't say anything. 'So, they don't know that we are humans… This is going to be fun.'

The golden robed dragon yelled out to all the others. "Every single one of you is the best of the best. You all understand that Gore has given us a mission. We will find the humans and we will make them think that we are fellow humans! After that, we will follow them around before stabbing them in the back!"

I turned to Tim and winked. "It will be ironic."

A dragon ahead of me whirled around. "Do you mind? I'm trying to listen to Edios!"

I smiled as I glanced at the dragon's green eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry."
