Calix regretfully left for the office after having breakfast with Leslie and Calliope. He had never felt this reluctant to go to work. He promised to return home as soon as he could.

"Don't you need to earn money to care for us? Go to work ah..."

"Hehehe~ Papa, come back early and let's play!"

Calix's words earned two different reactions, a playful chiding from his wife while his daughter welcomed his early return. Amused, he laughed all the way from the door to the car.

Fortunately, the morning traffic was bearable. Calix intended to finish the important tasks as many as he could before clocking out early.

"Good morning, CEO Xu."

"Boss Xu, when did you return? Had fun with your wife?"

"CEO Xu, when can we meet Mrs. Xu?"
