Capítulo 275: Before Her Leaving

Leslie's chuckle earned attention from Calix as he turned to look at her.

"En? What makes you laugh? Thinking of Calliope?"

"Hehe, yes..."

Calix and Leslie were chilling in the lounge of the villa after having a simple dinner together. The clock pointed to a quarter past eight. Despite still being early, they planned to head to bed soon.

The husband and wife returned to the villa slightly before five. None of them believed so many hours had passed from the first one they arrived at the orphanage.

Under Director Li's suggestion, Leslie and Calix came back to the villa alone instead of bringing Calliope together with them. They would visit the orphanage again tomorrow.

"She's so funny ah, reminds me of Mia," Calix shook his head, his laughter imbuing with helplessness, "I don't wanna think how much chaos they'll cause once they become closer."
