Lying alone on the double-seat rattan swing chair on the balcony, Leslie replayed Calix's previous remarks in her mind. Blinking, she sensed her eyes and cheeks heating.

What he said effortlessly entranced her, rendering her speechless. She said nothing in reply, only responding to him with a slight smile.

'I want to believe in his words.'

Leslie clasped her hands together, placing them over her chest. She perceived warmth gushing out of her heart, inwardly blanketing her with a sense of comfort.

Slightly tilting her chin up, Leslie threw her eyes to the blue sky where puffy white clouds drifted by. She had been seeing this kind of scenery from childhood yet, it was always wonderful to her.

"Do angels live there? On the clouds?"
