"M-Mimo, can't you hear me?"

After several vain attempts, Leslie blurted those words out loud. Her anxiousness caused her mind to stay awake but, the continuous painful throbbing hurt her brain.

Once again, Leslie failed to converse with Mimo. This matter hadn't happened before. She unconsciously grasped the blanket hard as dread flooded her heart. 

'What's happening? Urgh!"

Another onslaught of intense headaches struck Leslie. Unable to withstand it, she forced herself to close her eyes, willing sleep to quickly claim her consciousness.

Perhaps, Mimo was preoccupied with something. It would respond to her eventually later.

But...

What if Mimo still didn't answer her?

No, no. She better not let negativity impact her hope.
