12 hours ago, the battle between the two sides began at 'Ironhold Bastion' Stronghold. This stronghold is located deep in a forest so transversing through the forest to the stronghold was something that the Porter army found very difficult. 

Before they started the assault, General Cedric made sure they utilized the forest to their advantage. They set up traps all over the forest making it a death trap for whoever tried to traverse. 

The first hour of the battle saw the Porter army struggling to even move a meter without getting bombarded by countless projectiles. 

The first phase of the trap set was arrows laced with poison that ate away the life force of anyone it struck. The Porter army struggled to move since the whole ground was boobytrapped to set off a cascade of arrows once they were triggered.
