Capítulo 62: Surrender

In the heart of the Vanga formation, King Rupalnath's anxiety and frustration grew as the commander delivered grim news. It was becoming evident that victory was slipping from their grasp, and surrender seemed like the only viable option.

The commander, seeing the dire circumstances, suggested surrender, citing the overwhelming strength and leadership of Aryan Bahubali and Karna, who had not yet actively participated in the battle. Rupalnath Vangam contemplated the proposal, weighing the potential consequences of surrender.

However, the king's hopes were briefly rekindled as he inquired about assistance from the Cumbha kingdom, only to be met with disappointing news. The Cumbha kingdom, it seemed, had abandoned their alliance and left Vanga to fend for itself. This revelation only deepened King Rupalnath's anger and realization that he had been used as a pawn by the Cumbha kingdom.

In a fit of rage, Rupalnath understood that it was too late to change their circumstances. The Udra army's relentless advancement, marked by fiery explosions as they broke through layer after layer of the Mandal Vyuha, signaled that the innermost circle was now within their grasp.

With limited options remaining and the threat of defeat imminent, Rupalnath Vangam found himself in a precarious position, facing the unstoppable might of the Udra army, determined to achieve victory and expand their kingdom's territory.

As the tense conversation unfolded, the Udra army continued its relentless advance. In the heart of the Mandal Vyuha, Bhanumati, Dushala, and Eklavya were closing in on the central unit. Dushala, with her strategic insight into the formation, had identified the key target, and the trio prepared to unleash their combined might.

Explosions echoed in the battlefield as the Udra forces broke through another layer of the Mandal Vyuha. The central unit of Vanga forces was now in sight. This was the moment of truth.

Bhanumati, Dushala, and Eklavya readied themselves for the final assault. Dushala, with her swordsmanship, unleashed powerful air slashes, further destabilizing the Vanga forces. Eklavya aimed his bow and released the Agneyastra, engulfing the enemy soldiers in flames.

Bhanumati, in perfect coordination with her allies, launched the Vayuvyastra. A roaring tornado was unleashed on the central unit, creating chaos and weakening the Vanga formation further. The Mandal Vyuha was finally showing signs of breaking under the relentless assault.

With their defenses compromised, the Vanga forces were disoriented, unable to maintain their energy barrier effectively. The Udra army seized this opportunity to launch a coordinated assault on the central unit.

Bhanumati, Dushala, and Eklavya led the charge. Their unity and determination had brought them to this crucial point in the battle. They were determined to succeed and prove their strength to Aryan and Karna.

As the Udra forces closed in on the central unit, the Vanga soldiers fought fiercely, but their formation was now fractured and chaotic. The trio, displaying their remarkable skills and leadership, showed no signs of wavering. They were determined to unravel the enemy's defenses completely.

Meanwhile, in the heart of the Mandal Vyuha, King Rupalnath Vangam could sense that the battle was taking a turn for the worse. The sounds of explosions and the chaos within his formation confirmed his fears.

The king had become aware of the dire situation. His initial hope that reinforcements from Cumbha might arrive had faded, replaced by a grim understanding that he and his kingdom had been abandoned.

The conversation with his commander had only deepened his sense of despair. Surrender seemed inevitable, and Rupalnath contemplated the dire consequences that lay ahead for him.

"Your majesty, we have to make a decision," the commander urged. "If we don't act soon, it will be too late."

But just as Rupalnath grappled with this grim realization, the clamor of battle intensified. The sounds of the Udra army breaking through their formation grew closer, leaving no time for further deliberation.

Suddenly, there was a moment of clarity in Rupalnath's mind. He recognized the futility of continuing the fight. As the Udra forces neared, he understood that he had no choice but to surrender and spare his kingdom further devastation.

With a heavy heart, King Rupalnath Vangam, in the midst of the chaos and destruction, ordered a ceasefire and raised a white flag, signaling his intent to surrender. The Vanga soldiers slowly lowered their weapons.

The Udra army, now on the brink of victory, hesitated for a moment, assessing the situation. Aryan and Karna, observing from a distance, recognized the significance of the white flag.

King Rupalnath approached Bhanumati, Dushala, and Eklavya with a sense of resignation. He knew that surrender was the only option, and he addressed them, "I surrender, and I ask for your mercy."

The trio, having fought fiercely but with honor, nodded in acknowledgment. They had achieved their goal, and further bloodshed was unnecessary.

Aryan and Karna approached as well after the soldiers parted to make way for them. The battle had come to a conclusion, and the Udra kingdom had emerged victorious.

With the surrender of King Rupalnath Vangam and the Vanga forces, a new chapter was set to begin. The Vanga kingdom would become part of the expanding Udra kingdom.

This significant victory, achieved through the determination and unity of Bhanumati, Dushala, and Eklavya, marked another milestone in the journey of the Udra kingdom.

After the war ended, Aryan spared Rupalnath's life as amnesty but still exiled him from the kingdom. Subsequently, it took a few days for the situation to stabilize as they took over the Vanga kingdom.

Meanwhile, this crushing victory sent chills down the spines of Cumbha kingdom. Although they knew that Vanga kingdom would be defeated in the end but they didn't expect the defeat to be so tragic.

Royal Palace, Cumbha kingdom

Throne room.

"Your majesty, what should we do now? Because it won't be long before Udra turns the spearhead of it's army towards us. "

The prime minister asked hesitantly as he looked up at his at his king who was obviously in a bad mood.

"Damn that Aryan Bahubali. In fact, all this is that coward Chitrangad's fault for letting an outsider sit on Udra's throne, thus giving him the right to interfere in the internal matters of our six sibling kingdom. "

Kartikey couldn't help but curse Chitrangad before he continued after a momentary pause,

"Hmph, since he has already broken the treaty by involving outsiders in our internal matters then it's not wrong for us to seek external help. Prime minister Shand, immediately send a messenger to Pragjyotisha kingdom to seek for help against Udra kingdom. "

Hearing this, the prime minister hesitated before he asked his doubt and gave his own opinion,

"But your majesty, why do you think King Bhagadatta would help us? After all, anyone can see that making an enemy out of Udra kingdom is disastrous. Not to mention Jaraasandh and Kalyavan, that guy even managed to defeat Hastinapur's Bhisma and kidnapped his granddaughter right in front of his eyes. I think we should think of some either way instead of hoping for Pragjyotisha kingdom's help. "

But Kartikey didn't seem to be worried by this and instead responded with a triumphant smirk, revealing a deeper understanding of Aryan's ambitions.

"My dear Shand, if you think that Aryan Bahubali's ambition is only limited to reuniting the six sibling kingdoms of Anga, Vanga, Udra, Paundra, Cumbha and Kalinga like Paundraka then you are too naive. His ambition is too big, and his act of taking over half of Magadh is a solid proof of his wild ambitions.

As soon as he wins over Cumbha, he will start to target the other surrounding kingdoms. And I am sure that everyone else also knows this. That's why, King Bhagadatta would definitely accept my proposal. "
