Alex dashed out of his room the moment he sensed Allen being separated from Emma, stealthily trailing him.

From the beginning, Allen had exhibited vigilance and hostility toward Alex, leaving him puzzled.

After tailing him for five consecutive hours, Alex witnessed Allen employing a disguise technique in a deserted back alley, where few people roamed, to alter his appearance.

Deciding to maintain his cover, Alex too changed his face and physique, assuming the guise of a middle-aged man in his thirties to continue shadowing Allen.

Following Allen's lead, Alex eventually reached the outskirts of the Silver Moon forest, where scattered groups of mercenaries specialized in hunting and selling monsters gathered.

Observing from a distance, Alex spotted Allen disguised as a fifty-year-old man, engaging in discussion with a trio of individuals at the forest's edge.

Alex then shifted his gaze, focusing on the expanse of forest in the distance.
