Her emotions were still complex, immersed in her own thoughts. The two walked out of the research institute together and came to the car park where Pei Jingchuan gentlemanly opened the car door for Jiang Yuzhu.

The atmosphere inside the car was somewhat silent. Pei Jingchuan was driving and occasionally stole glances at Jiang Yuzhu seated beside him.

He could sense the emotional turbulence hidden behind her silence.

Pei Jingchuan spoke in a soft voice, attempting to break the silence, "Yuzhu, I think you should know that you're the only one in my heart."

Jiang Yuzhu remained silent in her seat, without responding.
