Capítulo 7: Chapter 7 Ready!
In the city near the river. I have managed to find a good building and have made it a temporary Base.
Since It's not too far from the river, not too close to my bunker, and even the building looks strong even when I punch it. I thought it was a great idea for a place of home.
Currently, I am taking some rest and eating the fish I just caught a moment ago.
The situation has improved a lot from two weeks ago, managed to find myself a house with a roof over my head, some makeshift beds using wood I craft that I gather, and even a rainwater collector since it was such a pain to make water.
I also make some simple fish traps on the nearby River using the air current to lead most of the fish to a trap.
But almost half of the fish I caught was some kind of Machine type fish, and it is filled to the brim with oil, What kind of environmental control do they have over here?
But at least the other half was edible. I munch on two small fish that I recently caught while gazing at the abandoned city for the extra view from the empty window. The fish taste bland without any salt not gonna lie. But it's enough to fill the belly.
But I can't help but feel worried about eating these fish considering a moment ago I only cough machine filled to the brim with oil. So if I continue eating these fish that could be contaminated by oil, I could get sick later on.
But that's the future me problem have to face, right now I am hungry and would even gladly eat grass.
Worst the sun is like before stuck there for the past weeks, staying above there and shining on the land. And it really drains most of my energy just from the heat alone.
I am already having a heat stroke just from the heat alone.
Usually, most of the United States location was covered in total darkness since the tidal lock happened, not only did it cause total chaos in the ecosystem but most of the food prices began to sour since most of the plants died.
How this planet manages to survive is still a mystery, even to this day.
I kind of miss seeing the moon and clouds since I don't have to bother with the heat.
...But it reminds me of the cold and dark city quickly stop that thought.
After letting out a sound burbed from feeling filled I threw the leftover bone outside the windows and headed outside to clean my hand with the nearby river until something came inside my mind.
I am lonely
Honestly, my only mind when I.. or we created Project Twilight's main objective was to escape the WCS itself, after that. I..or we actually don't know. I was not expecting to survive even live to tell the tale.
The only thing keeping me sane was the fact that there was someone out there, with the way gunshots and explosives rang all over the city. I wanted to scout out the source of the sound but considering I was not even in high peak condition I had no choice but to hide and ready myself.
And the biggest threat was still the machines that were crawling all over the city. I could use maso but my body is still extremely weak from the prolonge cryogenetic.
Maybe I can use one spell at a time but that's it, even if I need to talk to someone after two weeks of loneliness without talking to a single person.
Even a dog or any animal works for me either, just a friend I can talk or play with.
...For no reason or in my right mind I constructed some simple... friend I guess using coconut and drawing a face on it.
I call him Cocon!

...yeah, I already lost my mind if I talk with a coconut.
That's why I plan to find another life. To at least talk or have a conversation with someone.
The second goal is to find information regarding medicine since I have a feeling that from how much I have been coughing lately I am going to get sick. So it's better to be prepared than not prepared.
And maybe if I am lucky I can find a few tools that can help me survive.
After some stretching, I headed back to the base not before looking up at the moon for one last time and opening the door.
Upon opening the door what greeted me inside the room were numerous tools and computers all around the floor.
The second floor contains most of my food, beds, weapons, guns, and so on.
Mostly the deer I killed yesterday, some of the guns I gathered and some fish that I got.
I already smoked the deer and some of the fish so I can store it for later.
It's bland and pretty hard to chew but it makes for a good Snack.
Meanwhile, the first floor contains various tools and electronics for my work.
Honestly, It took me 12 hours to set up a computer as it required me to set up the power needed using the resources from my bunker including the battery and solar panel. Which I have to fix again all over again.
It was barely functioning using the solar panel, and it took me some time for the battery to be filled up before I could even use the computer.
Oh, I am not done yet. Once I was done it took me another 6 hours to fix the computer mess, and another 2 hours to decipher the androids code.
Longest work I had ever done. 10/10 not doing that again. And it sucks since I am a mechanic not a programmer so most of the typing I am doing at the computer is a random guess.
But, I got the information I needed from the android's memory.
Like for example the language completely changed which is kind of hard, what the hell is the system trying to say? like why is it that some of the language was in emoji or hand language?
But I don't know why or it was just some dumb luck but there was another language recently downloaded
And it was English which was kind of surprising.
Since the code has been turning into English it makes my job 10 times more easy for me to decipher the System, but man to think of all the android bodies I pick up this one has the language of English out of all 1000 languages exist.
Meh, must be a coincidence. I mean English is a universal language.
I look down upon the android's head which is currently connected to my computer showing most of the numerous wires from below the android's head were connected to my Computer.
Let's say this guy is named Billy.
Billy here is a Scout model with a lifespan of only 5 years. His job seems to be weekly check upon the territorial for any Machine activity and report back to camp.
He already finished his check on the surrounding area and was planning to head back to base not before getting chased and ambushed by the machine.
Other than that, there was also a strange program contained inside when I Snoopy around the system. Not surprise me since it was the very first thing the program was implemented.
"...Program 01, Designation Unit must not harm humans under any circumstances unless face deletion."
That's a pretty harsh program they have. Extermination upon disobeying an order from the human? What would happen if he got hacked geez?
But the fact that the program was recently installed... Did something happen?
Meh, maybe just another one of those propaganda to make them think humans exist. Not my problem.
I also notice what years is today from the date androids contain.
The year is now 11.942
I have to double, even triple-check if what it said was true. Since it makes no sense at all.
Project Twilight was supposed to have a lifespan of only 120 years even 500 years if I was really trying to test my luck.
If we could make it thousands of years even 10,000 we could have saved a lot more humans... But how would I have to prove this to the UN if it could last this long before I die of old age?
And besides how could I test something that lasted 100 years? By then all of us are becoming coffins or maybe salt!
There is no way it could survive that long since a lot of the equipment is going to deteriorate after 100 years, even my body would just turn into a must-go in the process since my own body can't handle being frozen for that long.
it's just simply not possible. Unless...something causes it to last longer.
Something prevents equipment from deteriorating, makes the power last longer, and makes it so that my body won't turn into a mush.
I need to find the reason behind this, I did check further upon the base database but considering my physical condition I consider it as a later mission. So I plan to gather information later when I finally have a stable life without worrying about food and security.
Also, further study of the memory inside the androids, concludes that there is YoRHa exists and currently led by none other than Commander White. So history still stays the same... I wonder if the mastermind of the machine is also the same.
The machine could also be the same, but I can't really rely on the information of my past gaming considering that the future can keep changing since I am here.
And besides, I already forgot most of the machine type and the characters in the Nier Automata timeline since I thought that information would be irrelevant and I would die of old age instead before even meeting any of those characters.
I rub my forehead and sigh, Damn if I have known this I would have at least kept a note of the Nier Automata timeline, it could have been useful to predict the machine androids' actions if I know what kind of personality they have.
I did keep some information about Nier Automata since I thought it could be useful in technology but most of the information I keep inside my computer is corrupted, and I simply have to write all of the information from scrach.
There is another person that has the information... But I doubt she is still alive.
Oh well, can't really complain. I just have to improvise.
After searching through the memory I also found a broadcast from the Council of Humanity....
I was not in luck finding more about the Council of Humanity or YoRHA since most of it is pretty cryptic and there was a lot of information that was unknown to me.
Since 10,000 years is enough to change not only to program but even how it processes the information which is plain obvious. I was having a hard time deciphering the information.
Even the Android processor is a lot better than my computer, so I was forced to use his chips instead of mine.
I still have a hard time believing that Billy has around 1 Peta Byte worth of memory.
And 1 Peta Byte is equal to 1000 terabytes like my god, the last time the United Nations began the manufacture of Androids it was only around 100 terabytes and it already pushed the limit!
If they increase the size of memory it would just be plain expensive. With no use for it at all.
And because of the huge memory, I was having a hard time looking around for its data and had to look at each file which took me forever.
It's like searching through 100,000 videos, and I have to look at every one of them... and each of these videos contains about 24 hours worth of video.
It's just not possible... for now with my current tool.
Luckily I managed to at least decipher one message after hours of work. And read the latest information the androids saw was about Broadcast he recently watched which kind of spooked out.
"Glory to Mankind.." I mutter the word upon one of the memory.
...That's not creepy at all. And why the hell is it still the same thing? Should there not be a massive change since I was here like an alternate timeline or something like that?
Or could it be the gods are saying to my face that my presence here did not change major events at all?
So you are saying my presence here is Soo small that both my world and this world did not affect anything?
Also thank you Androids for your service, your sacrifice will make my journey a lot easier.
An idea suddenly formed in my head. When I mention Broadcast.
If there is a broadcast then that means I can listen to the information as long as I have a radio.
But considering I am still busy taking care of myself, I plan on doing it later once I have the material and time to make it. There should be some of it around the city of I plan to Scout around.
Luckily the bags the androids carry also contain a map that has information about every single Resistance Camp location on every part around the city of Tokyo, including the machine type that recently appeared and many more.
It seems like one of many pieces of information he gathered and planned to bring back to the report. But got killed on his way back.
It was useful information and would help a lot since the city is full of danger
Now the next problem I am having is... the map itself.
It shows that I was not in San Diego anymore.
I was in Japan. Close to Tokyo.
This... raised many alarms, the bunker I was in before was supposed to be located in San Diego, or the United States.
I don't how the bunker managed to move from the United States to Japan, there are many theories but one of them makes sense the landmass has moved since it has been a thousand years.
There could be more reason but there is just too little information, I could have been in Asia right now but could have also located in Europe.
But there is a more pressing concern about the map itself that the androids were carrying, which is the map of Japan.
I noticed each of the maps of the territory is governed by its own resistance camp, I already got the gits of their plan with the way they put the mark of campfire in each place.
Almost every territory in the region has been marked that looks like some kind of a military base set up by the androids itself. Which is not far from here.
A good plan but it is also prevented from having a clear command since all of them are separated from each other.
And... lastly the leading of androids, and the backbone of all military all over the world.
Army Of Humanity.
I am still trying to decipher the information regarding more about the Army Of Humanity, but there are at least bits of information that I understand.
From what I can see, the Army Of Humanity is the backbone of the android army and has total control over the entire world faction including YoRHa, Resistance androids, and numerous factions scattered around the world.
And these factions control the spaceship, navy, and technology. All of them are under their control.
It makes me wonder what kind of technology they have set up for this war, but from the looks of it seems pretty effective with how much they last in the war itself.
And I can't help but notice the closest Resistance Camp to me is led by the name of Captain Rose. The only memory he tried to remember before he was destroyed.
Wonder what kind of girl she looks like with such a beautiful name.
So I will Investigate the nearby camp, which is supposed to be the one in control of this territory. And establish a talk with them while also hiding my identity so I can maybe buy more equipment, food, and everyday needs, and maybe find information regarding this war.
...And maybe find out if humanity is extinct, or still alive.
With my plan laid out, I begin making plans to the closest Resistance Camp tomorrow after preserving the food and water for the long journey ahead.
...If only that day I noticed. That the Camp was hiding something beyond my expectation, and If I knew about it I would have turned back and never gone to the camp.
Just means that you can't defy fate
