Capítulo 8: Chapter 8: The God Among Men
*Hade's POV*
After enjoying myself for sometime in slaughtering those Golems, I finished them quickly and went towards the big gate that I could see from here. The Gate is seemed to be made of stones, well it's a dungeon full of rock golems what did I expected but really it is quite big around 20 feet in hight and around 15 feet.
I pushed it open and in front of me was the biggest Golem I have seen so far, it was atleast 35 feet.
What the hell were the Rulers thinking? It's most probably the one of the first Gate's and they made it this difficult, don't they know how many people would've died if I wasn't here huh....
But let's just get it over with quickly.
I called upon the shadows and make them wrap all around the Golem and crushed him, Well that's it let's get out of here and clear as much of the Gates I can so the casualties will be lowered when the seven days are up.
I just teleported outside the gate and just as expected I am surrounded by people with guns pointed towards me, well can't really blame them but it's really cool isn't it that they bought this many people for me. I would be disappointed if they bought less though. After all, those teenagers would have told them what they saw me do inside.
"Put your hand above your head and identify yourself." A officer shouted to me through a megaphone.
"I am not going to do any of that." I spat at him, Wow! when did I became one with this much pride huh, Guess staying with Nyx does have some effects after all. I think they didn't hope for that answer because of the faces they are making.
"Listen young man, we don't want to shoot you so just follow the orders and there will be no harm done." Oh I didn't expect that, it seems I have watched too many movies where they just start to shoot at people when they don't listen to them.
"Alright, I don't have much time so listen to me and listen well alright. The blue wormhole that you are seeing behind me are gates to another dimension where monsters resides. You can go inside and look there are lot of dead Rock golems inside but you only have one hour before it closes so come back before that. So please evacuate the areas around these wormholes, that's all you have to worry about right now." After saying that I teleported on the roof of a nearby building.
*Narrator's POV*
It's been a day since Hades arrivals in this universe and some of the knowledge that he gained in this short while was that he is in USA and after clearing some of the Gates he started to see the army vehicles in the area, there were barricades around the gates and after making sure that the lose of the human life is going to be less he thought to stop for a day and think of a plan to acquire Ashborn's power.
He has two options on how to obtain Ashborn's power, First is to force Architect to give him the system and talk to Ashborn directly through that or pretend to be a human and go through the same process that Sung jin-woo has to go through. Which option should he follow through?
*USA's President POV*
What the hell is going on in this world, Not only with the implications of these gates but also with the looming election. The timing couldn't have been worse. The American people, already on edge due to the uncertainty surrounding the upcoming polls, were now faced with an otherworldly threat.
As I paced behind the resolute desk, my advisors fervently debated strategies to address this newfound crisis. Reports flooded in— On the monstrous creatures that were in those Gates our weapon don't work and no one knows why but they are not coming out of there atleast that is a good thing. The nation's safety, my administration's credibility, the impending election and that that masked individual that killed those monsters, the same monsters who don't even flinch in face of raging bullets.
"Just as I thought, you all are really running around like headless chickens."
What the fuck, who said that. And when I looked around the room the same masked figure was standing in one corner of the room leaning against the wall.
