By the time Marilena finishes her workday, she's emotionally drained. Solara had left earlier, leaving her alone in the office to tidy up her desk. She glances at the clock: 6:15 PM.

Her phone buzzes, and she sees a message from Christian.

Christian: "Hey, are you home? Want me to pick up Max for a walk again?"

Marilena thinks for a moment before replying.

Marilena: "I'm about to leave the office now. I'll let you know when I'm home."

Christian: "Take your time. Remember, you're not alone in this."

His words bring her a strange sense of comfort, and she decides she might take him up on the offer.

As Christian waits for Marilena's response, he stands on his balcony, watching the city lights flicker to life. She's carrying so much on her shoulders, he thinks. If only she could see herself the way I see her—strong, compassionate, and deserving of every good thing.
