Capítulo 123: Preparing for practise

Chi Cheng was unexpectedly whisked away by Han Xiaoyan. The Imperial General guided him to her bed chambers in silence and the younger male obediently followed without question while Zhu Zhiying was entrusted into the care of the Ice Sect disciples.

"General Han," Chi Cheng politely cleared his throat as they entered her chambers. "Is this all really necessary?"

"You wanted to practise the appraisal dance," Han Xiaoyan pointed out, idly setting up her dresser with the required facial items and accessories. "It's only befitting if you wear the traditional attire."

It was the first time Chi Cheng had directly engaged in a meeting with Han Xiaoyan. However, he assumed she was the epitome of ice as her brothers were. Strangely enough, the woman was rather lenient.

Even when she suddenly arrived at the training field, she did not sternly reprimand the Guest and Ice Sect disciples for loitering about nor punish them with excessive training exercises.
