Capítulo 46: The audience

Nathanael's POV:

Three hundred and twenty five. No, three hundred and twenty six. That's the number of heartbeats my ears are able to distinguish inside and around the mansion. Although, the only one that conquers my thoughts at this moment happens to belong to the person preparing to leave. Her heart rate is not running wild and yet it is not the tamest.

Sunlight soaks the hair on her head and further accentuates the creamy bronze color of it to give it a glow of its own. 

The sight of Rosemary in the oversized wear she dons almost gets a chuckle out of me, but the shade of them suits her fair skin tone well. The sweet scent of almond her body leaves behind her everywhere she goes lingers under my nose despite the distance separating us. 

I manage to capture an acrid hint that mixes and taints that heavenly perfume she gives off. One I can only attribute to frustration.
