Though he was anxious about the potential consequences of his actions, he maintained a composed exterior. He glanced occasionally at Captain Aurora, whose silence and deliberate pace only heightened his sense of anticipation.

When they finally arrived, Captain Aurora shut the door behind them with a decisive click and locked it. Jin Wei looked around the room, noting its neat but modest appearance. He had been here before, and it seemed nothing had changed much. It seemed almost mundane compared to her imposing background as a member of an Original family and her rank as a captain in the military.

Without a word, Captain Aurora snapped her fingers.
