[Third Person's PoV]
Seeing their shocked expressions, Peter started to stride smugly towards his room. But as he took a step on the stairs, Aunt May took hold of his shoulders.
"Oh no you don't, young man!" Aunt May said as she squeezed his shoulders before pulling him down and pushing him to sit down.
"We are having a discussion about this," Aunt May said, while Peter looked at her in confusion.
"What's there to discuss? I think I made it pretty clear. Gwen and MJ agreed to date at the same time," Peter said, although he wanted to sound casual, no one missed his smug expression and tone of voice.
Uncle looked to the side and mouthed, "Are you serious?"
To which Peter gave him a small nod. Uncle Ben stood up from where he was sitting and walked towards Peter.
He crossed his arms as he stood in front of him, and Aunt May nodded her head, expecting Ben to reprimand him.
Uncle Ben put a hand on Peter's shoulder and covered his move like he was about to cry, "I'm so proud of you."
"Ben!" Aunt May chastised as she smacked Uncle Ben's arm.
"Thank you, Uncle. I couldn't have made it this far without your guidance," Peter said as he pretended to wipe away tears.
That earned Peter a smack on the head from Aunt May.
"Benjamin Parker, what have you been teaching this boy!?"
"What? All I've taught him was to be respectful, responsible, and to be there for them when they need him," Uncle Ben said with a shrug.
Aunt May held her forehead as she looked towards Peter, "Are you being serious, Peter? Please tell me you aren't two-timing the two of them?"
"I'm being 100 percent serious, Aunt May. I swear it on my parents' grave."
"Peter!" Aunt May reprimanded, but although she reprimanded Peter, she now knew that he was being serious if he was willing to go that far.
Uncle Ben looked at Peter curiously, "So how did it happen?"
Peter rubbed the back of his head shyly, "It was actually Gwen's idea, believe it or not."
Uncle Ben looked at Peter in surprise before he patted him on the back, "That's my boy! I couldn't be prouder."
"I'm literally a superhero saving lives, and that's what makes you proud?" Peter asked teasingly.
"Boys," Aunt May scoffed. She then looked towards Peter and said, "Wash up and get dressed, dinner's almost ready."
Peter nodded and did as he was told. As they ate dinner, Aunt May turned towards Peter and pointed her fork at him, "Bring them both here when you can, I want to talk to the both of them."
"Why?" Peter asked with food in his mouth, looking at her in confusion.
"Just do as you're told."
"Yes ma'am," Peter said. After he finished eating, he started to rush upstairs.
"And where are you going in such a hurry?" Aunt May asked.
"Night watch," was all he answered, with which they all understood and caused them to sigh.
…
MJ was on her bed looking at the ceiling with a dazed look. After a few minutes, she reached for her phone and made a call.
Felicia's voice was soon heard, "Hey girlfriend~ Tell me all the gossip. How was the date?"
"In one word… Amazing."
"Oh? Someone sounds lovestruck," Felicia said in a teasing tone, "So where did you two go?"
"That's the thing, we didn't go anywhere…" MJ said as she grabbed her pillow and started hugging it.
"What?"
"Exactly my point. All we did was be at my house and bake brownies."
"Oh? That sounds a bit romantic if you ask me?"
"And it was! Oh my gosh, you should have seen how nervous he was when he presented the idea. He didn't know if I was going to like it or not, and it was just the cutest thing," MJ smashed her face into her pillow and let out a scream.
"Okay, Okay, I get it, hehehe," Felicia giggled hearing how lovestruck MJ sounded.
"And then, he pulled out these matching aprons he got for us to wear… Sigh…"
"Alright, alright I get it. You want to fuck him. Chill."
"We were close to doing it," MJ whispered.
"WHAT!" Felicia shouted, which was followed by loud laughter.
"Tell me everything~" Felicia said, emphasizing the 'everything' part.
"Well after we had our little baking date, which was a major blast by the way, we went to the couch to snuggle, and while I was in his arms he asked me to officially become his girl."
"And obviously you said yes."
"I didn't actually respond using words, I grabbed his cute little face and kissed him. His lips are amazing, by the way. I said if that answered his question–"
"Oooh girl~ you were going in strong, weren't you?"
"Wanna know what he responded with?" MJ asked with a smile.
"Hit me."
"'I don't know how to read lips. I'm going to need some more practice to be able to understand,'" MJ deepened her voice, imitating how Peter talked.
"Damn!" Felicia said, impressed. "I ain't know Parker had game like that."
MJ giggled, "If he didn't, I don't think he would have been able to handle both of us."
"So what happened next?" Felicia asked, intrigued.
"What do you want me to say? I did what any other girl would have done in the situation. We started making out. It was like we were unable to stop, like we were stuck together like magnets, unable to separate."
MJ heard Felicia scoff on the other side of the phone.
"I'm being serious, oh my God, you should have seen his abs, you could grind cheese on those things!"
"Hahahaha! Don't worry, I saw," Felicia teased.
MJ then let out a regrettable sigh, "My mom just had to come home early and catch us in the act."
"Phtttt," Felicia said before she broke out into laughter. "No way! You both got caught, that is hilarious!"
MJ pouted as the two continued to talk. They talked and talked into the middle of the night. "So your internship at reporting starts Monday, right?" Felicia asked.
To which MJ confirmed.
"You have to take me on your first major report," Felicia said with a smile.
"Huh? Why?"
"Are you kidding me, being at a crime scene sounds fun, and I'm going to be bored. Peter and Gwen are going to their own internship, and I'm not close to Harry to be hanging out with him like that."
MJ shrugged her shoulders, "Sure, but don't get your hopes up. I doubt anything major is going to happen."
The two continued to talk late into the night.
When Felicia hung up, the smile on her face disappeared completely as she wrapped up in her blanket, appearing like a cocoon.
She then let out a sigh, unwrapped herself, and reached over to her nightstand where she took a bottle of pills.
She then took two into her hands and swallowed them before setting them back onto the nightstand and wrapping herself back again.
She stared a bit lifelessly ahead, and after a while, her eyes grew heavier and heavier, and as she fell asleep, a single tear escaped her eyes.
