Throughout the next few days, Scarlett and Ethan were fully immersed in bettering themselves. Scarlett had, at some point, forgotten that she had defeated him, and she hadn't asked him to do something unreasonable.

They would be lovey-dovey inside their cozier-than-ever mountain cave that they had named the Escar Estate and would always be deeply inside their research. 

Scarlett was still learning the language, and it was becoming more and more clearer to her. After gaining the True Devour Physique, her mental capabilities also seemed to have become much better. She was devouring new words of the language like a whale every day, and she would soon probably have a basic grasp of it.

At night, she would be devouring something else. And Ethan would be left disappointed at his own stamina—only if he used his Life Worms as a replenishment for stamina could he last more.
