Capítulo 3: First big tournament
~3 years later~
I am currently in the F1 youth team(9 and under) while only being 7 years old. The reason is the strong dribbling of Rivellino and the speed of Henry. Due to them, I don't need to use my body too much, which would be much weaker due to the age gap.
I am currently driving with my grandpa to an indoor tournament in Munich.
It is a tournament, which hosts the biggest Football clubs in Bavaria.
There will be clubs of big cities like Ingolstadt, Unterhaching, 1860 Munich, and of course FC Bayern Munich.
This will be my biggest tournament so far.
"I have a surprise for you", grandpa said out of nowhere.
"Really, what is it?", I asked excitedly as he gives the best presents.
"You will know soon", he said with a teasing smile.
As soon as we arrived at the hall, I immediately walked to the locker room to change to my jersey. I wore the number 10.
After I put on everything, besides my football shoes and the shin guards, of course, I went to find my grandpa. He talked to some older people.
After talking to him about me warming up, I asked him for some money to buy something to eat.
After eating, I went to the locker room to put on my shoes and my shin guards. A little habit of mine is to wrap the shoelaces only lightly around the shoes for more space.
After that I went to the field, where some players from my team were already warming up, I greeted them.
What Maximilian didn't know is that his Grandpa is talking about him right now.
"Is that your grandson, Sepp?", one of the older men asked.
"Yes, I bet he will give you guys a surprise", Sepp said with a smile.
"Is he the reason you wanted us to be here?", the other man asked Sepp.
"He is only part of the reason. I want to spend a bit of time with you Franz and Gerd.", Sepp replied to his comment.
"I will pay close attention to him", Franz said.
After going onto the field, I went to my teammates and we did some warm-up and shot onto the goal.
Soon enough the tournament began.
Every club gathered on the field in an orderly line. There were 32 clubs, but only one could win.
After a speech from the sponsors of the tournament, the first match began.
It was the host FC Bayern vs Ingolstadt, two favorites.
In the end, Bayern won a narrow victory of 2:1.
We were in the 10th game.
We played against the youth team of a 5th-division club.
A game was 12 minutes, with the last minute being the most exciting as they were playing music, which gave an adrenaline surge.
Another thing was that there were at max. 5 players allowed on the field of each side.
The game wasn't exciting.
We won the game 4:0, with me shooting 2 and assisting 1.
We easily won our group with a goal difference of 10:2 in 3 matches, as there were no strong teams in the group.
I made 6 goals and assisted 3.
After advancing as the first in group E we played against the second of Group G, which wasn't decided yet.
