Capítulo 44: Forty-four

"How did Delilah get involved?" I asked my clone, a little surprised. 

"Well, there's some kind of magical demonic barrier around her, and we clones can't get near her," said my clone, looking frustrated. She had been following her for a while, trying to find out more about her and her involvement with the demon mages. 

"I don't know what it is, but it's definitely not natural. Maybe she's working with the demons, or maybe she's their target." added my clone.

I frowned, feeling a pang of worry and doubt. The last time I'd been near Delilah, there was no barrier at all. Maybe she was a spy, or a traitor, or a victim. I didn't know what to think.

I hope it's not a trap, but I'll have to look after Delilah myself for now, and I don't think she's dangerous.
