"Hey, don't kill them! Let me finish them off!" I called out to Aura, as I sliced off the head of a mutated Horn Boar, blood gushing out and seeping into the dirt as it fell over and collapsed onto the ground.

"Huh? What for?" She responded, as she coated her fists with lightning and punched the side of the head of a mutated Hellhound, stunning it and knocking it out, its body spasming slightly as it hit the ground with a thud.

"Because these mutated Monsters give me a lot more EXP than I'd get by killing regular Monsters, it's an opportunity I can't afford to pass up on!" I called out in response, as I stomped on a mutated Vermin as it leapt at my feet with its jaws wide open, crushing its head before it could bite me.

Today's the 10th of June, 1040, and things are getting worse. While the number of mutated Monsters hasn't increased by that much, mutated versions of stronger Monsters have started appearing too.
