Strange, I feel...comfortable.

My head's nestled against something that's nice and soft, and there's a pleasant, familiar scent too...it feels like someone's stroking my hair, something I haven't felt in a long time...

"Mom...?" I muttered in a slight daze as I opened my eyes, squinting a bit as rays of sunlight met my gaze, stinging my eyes.

"Um, no, sorry...it's just me, Aura. But if you want to call me mommy, I'd be okay with that," Came Aura's voice, staring down at me with a slight, teasing smirk, a hint of relief in her eyes.

"Wh-wha-...," I began with a slight stutter, before trailing off and sitting up with a start as I fully woke up, composing myself and adding as I cleared my throat, "No, that wouldn't make any sense, considering the fact that you're younger than me."
