Capítulo 38: Chapter 37 - Big Picture

"Hey, isn't it about time you started playing it safe, shithead? You've got money and a house now, so why not look for safer work that doesn't involve, you know, risking your life? Since my life is unfortunately linked to yours, I can't afford to have you die," Remarked Arkiela with a disapproving frown.

"Mhm, mhm, I see your point, but did you consider this...why in the ever-loving fuck would I give two shits about what you want? Now, quit buzzing around me or I'll get a birdcage to lock you up in," I replied dryly.

"Oh, please, as if such a thing could ever keep me locked up. Dumbass mortal," She huffed in response.

Quite a while has passed since that month I spent in the Capital, about a whole year or so. Today's the 5th of April, 1031, and you know what that means...fifteen days to go for 4/20.

Nothing of any real note has happened over the past year or so, things have been pretty uneventful for the most part.
