Capítulo 160: Smart as ever

Daisy's lips twitched. 

"Why daisies? Tell me what they mean.'' 

''They don't necessarily need to have a meaning,'' she replied. 

''But I am certain that they have one,'' Ryle was quick to retort. 

Daisy stroked Angel's baby hair as she pressed her face on the windshield without answering his question. A meaning behind the flowers? Even she had not comprehended one. Maybe she thought of him too often even though he had left only earlier this morning and since he occupied her thoughts so much, she wanted to occupy his too. 

''How was your first day at work, sweetheart?" Noting that she did not answer, he did not question her again as well. 

Daisy paused at the 'sweetheart' slightly, her cheeks had a slight tink of pink as she spoke, ''Decent.'' 

''Is everyone welcoming towards you? Or did they put you through trouble?"
