Capítulo 297: Familiar Pain

"Come get me, Amanda!" a little girl yelled at her older sister as they played chase in their yard.

"I'll catch you, Kylie!" said Amanda as she chased after her.

She cheerfully ran around without any footwear because their parents couldn't afford sandals or shoes.

Too busy running, little Kylie didn't realize that there was a sharp pebble nearby. When she accidentally stepped on it, she screamed in pain and fell down.

"Kylie!" Frantically, Amanda ran to her little sister who was crying loudly because she stepped on a sharp stone and fell to the ground.

Amanda lifted the five-year-old girl up and sat her down. Kylie's cries grew louder as she saw her knee bleeding.

Hearing Kylie's cries, Dominic, who was in the house, ran out and saw his injured daughter.

"Dad, Kylie fell and hurt her knee!" Amanda said frantically and almost cried too.
