After everything had settled down and the flowers had been taken away by some of the production crew members, the final scene for the day finally began. Chen Mumu was going to be the center of the scene, as there would be a duel involving one of the soldiers selected to join the Imperial Army. This was tradition, and the winner of the duel would become one of the Emperor's personal guards—a great honor for any officer.

Once everything was ready, Director Zhang checked the cameras and then the monitors. Everyone was in place, and the scene finally started. Cai Ying and the other soldiers emerged from the palace in unison, marching uniformly toward the Martial Arts Center. The Martial Arts Center was a round room resembling an auditorium with many seats and served as a battle ring. Soldiers had to train here in batches, as it was not overly large, yet not too small either.
