Before the AI could finish its message, the station's lights dimmed slightly, signaling that energy was being concentrated for defensive purposes.
In an instant, a massive energy shield flared to life around the station. This was the first time since its construction that more than fifty percent of the station's power had been utilized to create such a formidable shield.

The moment the shield was fully deployed, Kang's energy beam struck it with immense force, causing violent tremors and explosions.
