Capítulo 105: All That's Left is Worry

Coffee.

Ethan heard Mr. Morelli's assistant say something about coffee. 

Having worked with the rich since he was a personal trainer, he was accustomed to their quirks, but this was a new one. Luca cared about Sophia dearly but his assistant might not as much. 

When Miss Florentino was off the phone, she stood there in shock for a few moments. She genuinely seemed stressed out over the situation so the mention of coffee made even less sense. 

"Miss Florentino, right?" he asked her.

She kept her distance for the time being but still nodded and said, "Rachel is fine." 

"Coffee?" he asked. "At a time like this?" 

The assistant ran her fingers through her bangs and let out a light sigh. 

"It isn't what you think," she said and set her grey eyes on the man standing in front of her. "It means something else but I'm not at liberty to say."
