Capítulo 3: Chapter 3: Moon Jones' Moving Castle

Watching the two little troublemakers hastily fleeing, Moon Jones's face revealed a wickedly amused smile without any restraint.

"Sir, what was that just now?" Harry asked hesitantly in a low voice.

Moon Jones shook his head and waved dismissively, "How should I know? Don't ask me, I'm just an ordinary person."

Harry didn't believe it at all. Ordinary people wouldn't encourage him for his actions; instead, they would feel fear and anger.

"The reason they are scared is that such actions go beyond their understanding," Moon Jones explained, extending a hand.

"So, is this normal for you?" Harry suddenly realized, remembering the uncle asking him earlier if he was a wizard, a sorcerer, or something else.

"More or less. I've seen a lot, so your little trick isn't that impressive to me," Moon Jones replied, looking at Harry.

"So, sir... what am I?!" Harry felt insecure, looking at his own hands.

"What you have is the power of magic, kid. You're a wizard, born with it."

Suddenly, Harry felt the world freeze—wind, clouds, even his own movements became stiff.

"I-I-I... I... Sorry, sir, what did you say?" Harry stuttered.

"A wizard!" Moon Jones repeated, simultaneously opening his right hand, and a flame ignited.

Harry forgot to breathe. Moon Jones's forearm was covered in runes that Harry couldn't understand, and the flames on his hand resembled scenes from a dream.

Snap—fist clenched, flames vanished.

"I'll show you a bit, can't reveal too much. Otherwise, the Ministry of Magic might catch on," Moon Jones explained.

"What's the Ministry of Magic?" Harry asked curiously, watching Moon Jones clench his fist.

"I don't know. Probably some evil organization. They tried to capture me last time. If it weren't for Lucifer's magic shield, they might have found us by now."

Despite knowing almost nothing about this world, Moon Jones hadn't been located by those people from the Ministry of Magic yet.

"So, can I do what you did? Flames in my hands?" Harry's eyes showed a hint of anticipation.

"I don't know," Moon Jones shook his head.

This world seems to use sticks to cast spells—small sticks, like chopsticks.

Then Harry asked many questions, and Moon Jones's answers were consistently, "I don't know," "Not sure," "Who knows."

However, Harry was happy; at least, Moon Jones didn't express any impatience. Despite frequently calling him "kid" and always wearing that expressionless face, he felt this uncle was quite good.

"Alright," Moon Jones clapped his hands, signaling Harry to move the fully excavated Moon Spirit Flower. Harry carefully held the flower cluster, waiting for Moon Jones's next instruction.

"Come in," Moon Jones gestured towards the front.

"Okay," Harry was a bit nervous, then glanced back at Number Four Privet Drive.

He vaguely felt that the house on Thirteen was like a different world from here.

Thinking so, he nervously walked in, with a mix of fear and anticipation.

Inside the house, chaos ensued. The fireplace burned calmly, a broom leaned against the door, and various things were piled up haphazardly. Harry couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Moon Jones, impeccably dressed and looking handsome.

Very hard to imagine...

Moon Jones closed the door, and Harry noticed a disc in the upper right corner of the door.

The disc was divided into two halves, one brown, the other lush green, with a pointer in the middle of the brown side.

Then he saw Moon Jones twist the doorknob.

Ding—! The pointer rotated, making a crisp bell-like sound, then turned to the green side.

Moon Jones opened the door again, and Harry's eyes widened. Outside the door was not Privet Drive but a green meadow, further ahead, a cliff.

Moon Jones raised an eyebrow, stepping outside. "What are you waiting for? Come over."

Harry stiffly jumped down the small steps, looking back, realizing he was in a castle of about four or five floors, seemingly pieced together from various mansions. He even saw abstract eyes, ears, nose, and mouth on the castle.

Lucifer chose a great location. This was deep in the mountains. The castle itself was hidden at the edge of tall redwoods, facing a meadow, followed by a cliff—a perfect view. It allowed efficient reception of Moonlight Flowers.

"Let's begin, transplant the flowers," Moon Jones ordered without hesitation.

"Uh... Oh, okay," Harry responded dumbfoundedly. He hadn't fully recovered from the shock.

Moon Jones chose a good location and threw the shovel to Harry, letting him do it himself, then went back into the house.

Seeing no one around, Harry became bolder, his mind wandering and occasionally looking at the castle hidden in the redwood forest.

Magical magic, a huge castle, and...

Harry looked down at the cliff below, the wind blew, revealing the scar on his forehead. Below the cliff, an endless green sea spread out, and beyond the mountains in the distance were even more towering peaks.

Scenery he had never seen before.

Then Harry thought, he himself was also a wizard.

What about mom and dad? Would they be powerful wizards too?

He thought as he dug the soil.

Inside the castle, Lucifer lazily asked, "Who is that kid? The one who damaged the Moon Spirit Flower?"

Moon Jones nodded, taking sausages and smoked meat from the fridge, along with a lamb chop, preparing lunch.

Pfft.

Lucifer emerged from the stove again, covering the frying pan. Meanwhile, the knives and spatulas jumped up, dealing with side dishes automatically.

Moon Jones just held the frying pan, skillfully cracking two eggs.

"This kid has magical power. I plan to investigate around him to see if I can find an opportunity to understand the magic of this world."

"I'd say... chomp..." Speaking halfway, Lucifer opened his mouth and swallowed the eggshell.

"I'd say, you might as well fly a few laps over London. Someone will come to catch you naturally. After gathering enough information, break out of prison," Lucifer said nonchalantly.

"You..." Moon Jones shook his head helplessly. Since their years as pirates in the Caribbean, Lucifer always considered problems with a touch of violence.

"I'm not that strong anymore," Moon Jones explained. "Don't underestimate this world. I still have a curse on me."

"Oh, right. There was a pilot turned into a pig. And a wizard turned into a cat. Quite amusing... chomp..."

At some point, Moon Jones's disguised expression had disappeared, replaced by a somewhat rounded, silver-white cat head.

"Still a Maine Coon..." Lucifer added.

"Damn it, can't you eat quietly? Can't you be a bit more peaceful!" Moon Jones said irritably.
