Capítulo 123: World Domination: part 6 (chapter 123)

prevously in chapter 122

With a surge of energy, Henry shot into the sky, meeting Ikaris head-on. The two titans clashed in mid-air, the impact of their collision creating shockwaves that rippled through the atmosphere. Ikaris, using his superior speed and agility, darted around Henry, firing rapid bursts of energy from his eyes, each blast powerful enough to level a building.

Henry weaved through the barrage, his telekinesis deflecting the beams that got too close. He responded with a flurry of telekinetic strikes, invisible forces hammering Ikaris from all sides. Ikaris grunted, feeling the weight of Henry's power, but his resolve only strengthened. He charged at Henry, fists glowing with cosmic energy, and swung with the force of a meteor.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Henry caught Ikaris's fist with his own, the impact sending a shockwave through both of their bodies. The sky around them crackled with raw energy as they grappled, their superhuman strength evenly matched. With a grunt, Henry twisted Ikaris's arm, using telekinesis to amplify the torque, but Ikaris countered with a devastating knee to Henry's midsection, forcing him to release his grip.

The two flew apart, only to clash again in a blur of motion. Ikaris moved with relentless speed, each punch and kick delivered with pinpoint precision. Henry, using a combination of telekinesis and sheer physical power, blocked and parried each blow, occasionally countering with blasts of force that sent Ikaris reeling.

The landscape below bore the brunt of their battle. Trees were uprooted and thrown like toothpicks, rocks shattered into dust, and the ground itself was torn apart by their unleashed might. The once tranquil outback was transformed into a chaotic battlefield, the very air thick with the energy of their conflict.

Ikaris roared in fury, his eyes blazing as he unleashed a continuous stream of golden energy. Henry met it head-on, his telekinetic shield shimmering as it absorbed the brunt of the attack. But the force was immense, and Henry could feel the heat, the raw destructive power pushing him back.

With a burst of power, Henry expanded his shield, sending the energy beam scattering in all directions. He shot forward, closing the distance between them in an instant, and delivered a telekinetically-enhanced punch to Ikaris's jaw. The force sent Ikaris spiraling out of control, crashing into the earth below, creating a massive crater on impact.

Before Ikaris could recover, Henry was on him, descending like a hawk on its prey. He reached out with his mind, telekinetically pinning Ikaris to the ground. The Eternal struggled, his muscles straining as he fought against the invisible force, but Henry's power was overwhelming.

"Impressive," Henry admitted, looking down at Ikaris with a mixture of contempt and condescension. "But ultimately futile." With a thought, Henry intensified the telekinetic pressure, crushing Ikaris against the earth. Ikaris screamed in defiance, his eyes glowing fiercely as he summoned every ounce of his strength. For a moment, it seemed as though he might break free, his body trembling with the effort. #But Henry was relentless. He increased the pressure, his telekinetic grip becoming a vice, and with a final surge of power, he snapped Ikaris's spine. The golden glow in Ikaris's eyes flickered and died as his body went limp, the fight draining out of him.

-scene change-

In a secluded village deep within the Amazon Rainforest, the thick canopy of trees shrouded the area in a perpetual twilight. The sounds of the jungle—chirping insects, rustling leaves, distant animal calls—created an eerie soundtrack that contrasted sharply with the tension simmering within the small, dimly lit cabin. Inside, four Eternals gathered, their normally confident demeanors replaced by a somber, heavy mood. They were the last of their kind, their fellow Eternals having fallen to a mysterious and overwhelmingly powerful force. The air was thick with unease as they huddled together, trying to make sense of the devastation that had befallen them.

Kingo paced back and forth, his flamboyant attire now wrinkled and disheveled, reflecting the anxiety gnawing at him. Gone was the usual cocky smile and showman's bravado; in its place was a worried expression, his eyes darting nervously between his companions. He was the first to break the silence. "This is insane," Kingo muttered, his voice tinged with desperation. "We're supposed to be the strongest, the protectors... and yet, one by one, they're all gone. Thena, Gilgamesh, sprite, sersi, Ajak... even Ikaris. How the hell is this happening?"

In response, Phastos stood before a holographic display, his dark eyes reflecting the faint blue light of the projection. The hologram was of Henry, the man they all had a hunch was responsible for the death of their family, yet none of them fully understood. Phastos had gathered what little information he could about their adversary, though it wasn't much—just fragments and vague details. Phastos was a broad-shouldered man with a calm, intellectual air about him. His close-cropped hair and thoughtful expression belied the inner turmoil he was grappling with. He was the one who usually had the answers, but today, the unknown loomed large.

"Everything points to him," Phastos said, his voice measured but laced with tension. He gestured to the hologram, which showed Henry's cold, calculating face. "This man... he's not just some random villain of the weak. He's a threat on a scale we've never encountered before. The way he's taken out our strongest, one after another... It's clear he has some kind of plan, but we don't know what it is." Makkari, standing by the window, her sharp eyes scanning the jungle outside, turned to the group. Her slim, athletic form was tense, every muscle coiled and ready. Though she couldn't speak, her expression conveyed a deep worry, one that was echoed in the quick, deliberate movements of her hands as she began to sign. Makkari: What do we know about him? How is he doing this?

Phastos sighed, his brow furrowing as he considered the question. He had spent the last few days poring over every piece of data he could find, trying to make sense of Henry's abilities. The truth was, he knew very little—too little. But there were some things he could surmise, and others he could fabricate to guide the group's decisions. "He's extremely powerful," Phastos began, watching as Makkari's eyes focused intently on his words. "He seems to have a combination of abilities—telekinesis, and some form of energy manipulation. He's killed not just Eternals, but other beings of great power. Heroes, villains... anyone who stood in his way. It's almost like he's cleaning house, eliminating anyone who could potentially challenge him." Druig, who had been silent until now, leaned against the wall, his dark eyes narrowing in thought. His lean, brooding form was partially obscured by the shadows, making him seem almost like a specter. There was a calculating quality to Druig, an intensity that could be unnerving, especially in moments like these.

"And what about his motives?" Druig asked, his voice low and contemplative. "What does he gain by killing us? What's his endgame?" Phastos shook his head slowly. "That's the part I can't figure out. But it doesn't matter. Whatever his reason, he's a threat to all of us, and we need to stop him before he finishes what he started." Kingo stopped his pacing and looked at Phastos, a flicker of hope in his eyes. "You've always been the brains of this operation, Phastos. Please tell me you've got something up your sleeve. Some kind of plan, a weapon—anything that can stop this guy." Phastos hesitated, his gaze lingering on the hologram of Henry. He knew they were grasping at straws, but he couldn't let that show. He needed to keep them focused, give them something to believe in.

A/N: Another day, another chapter. Anyway, I'm actually having fun writing the god fanfic in the Arrowverse, especially now that I've started to (actually) structure the story—the acts, what drives the story, the motives, and even plot twists and foreshadowing. This is new territory for me since my antagonists usually just show up, but not in this fanfic.

And yeah, it might seem like I'm reaching beyond my writing capabilities, but it's fun trying to piece together a real story in a fanfic instead of just winging it or following a set plotline that eventually leads to chaos in the original timeline (see what I did there—foreshadowing). I should probably keep my mouth shut and stop spoiling my story, but I love suspense... and spoilers.

Especially the hunter in that story—it's quite unique, and I'm really liking it. you know what they said, its interesting to see the weakness of a character rather than showing being all powerful. Anyway, keep those stones coming!

PS: 123 hehehehe
