Lin Yicheng and Lin Ercheng followed closely behind their father, not interacting with Aunt Zhuang, just leaving their belongings at the corner of the yard and heading to the main house.
"Brother Lin, why don't you take off your dirty clothes first? I'll go and wash them." Aunt Zhuang offered, her smile somewhat forced. Her arms were extended, not showing any intent of withdrawing them.
Father Lin felt uncomfortable upon hearing her call him 'Brother Lin', as if he had swallowed a fly. His face was increasingly imbued with displeasure.
Lin Yicheng and Lin Ercheng walked quickly, surprised to see that Nanzhi had returned early in the morning.
"Nanzhi, why are you home so early today?" Lin Ercheng asked, pleased. Since she had started running the restaurant, she rarely stayed at home and always returned late, which made them worried about her.
"I finished with my tasks early, so I came home," She replied.
