After Lin Shu rang the doorbell, a servant came to open the door after a short wait.

The servant led Lin Shu in when he learned of his purpose, "Let's use the side door. The master and the young master are discussing business now. It would be inappropriate to disturb them."

"Alright, thank you."

Lin Shu walked behind the servant without looking around. After all, he was in someone else's home so it wouldn't be right to idly wander around.

The servant left after showing him to the place.

Even through a closed door, Lin Shu could hear the sounds of video games playing from within the room.

She lifted her hand to knock on the door.

But no one responded after a long time. Instead, the sound of the video game had been turned up much louder, which indicated that the person inside heard the knocking but chose to ignore it on purpose.

With no other options, Lin Shu had to knock again.

Still, no one answered the door.

Lin Shu continued to knock.
