Henry was unsure of what to say to the king, as he felt his knees almost quivering. He had never imagined for one day that he would be standing before the ruthless Alpha Charles.

"Keep a calm composure," the guard that stood beside him in front of the door to the throne room breathed an emotionless warning.

"Alpha Charles hates and distrusts people who are too scared of him, so you better get all the nervousness out of your system before you step in." the guard in his other side warned, leaving him even more disheartened.

"Fine… I get it," Henry said to them, trying to ward off all the frightful feelings that were building up within him.

But he couldn't get himself to be still, as he was still in the dark about why was suddenly being summoned by the alpha. More than anything, he wanted to be sure that it was because of his abilities of foresight that he was being beckoned upon.
