Capítulo 21: 20. Selfish Celeste

"What are you doing here?" Arik's voice was deep and stern as he greeted Isabella even before she stepped foot in the villa.

Isabella took a step back, slightly surprised. "I was looking for you, of course. Auntie Lara asked me to find you."

"And why would they do that? They know how much I hate you," Arik casually replied, glancing at me. "Leave, Isabella. No one wants you here."

"Whoa, chill. You're always so harsh, Arik. I was just kidding. I didn't come here for you," Isabella said, looking straight at me. Her black gown swayed as she moved.

"Can we talk?" Her request was genuine and serious. It was evident that she had something important to discuss.

In the end, I agreed to Isabella's request. I left Arik inside the villa, where he was preparing the jacuzzi, while Isabella and I stayed outside.

From where we stood, I could still see the vast ocean, although it was getting darker as the villa lights didn't reach that far.
