Hours later, as the sun's rays hit the window, we lay in bed, cuddling and basking in the warmth of our mating. I was still in disbelief that I had marked her as my mate. Grinning from ear to ear, I could not believe that I was now mated to this wonderful woman.

"How long are you going to gloat?" She demanded while she stretched herself like a cute puppy.

"You have no idea, "I responded as I felt my voice vibrate. "Why did you not push for this before? You know I am such a loner and you kept waiting."

"It takes two to mate, Benjamin," she whispered. " And I wasn't sure you would want someone who was mated before. And I am also a mother of two children.

"What happened to Elijah was not your fault. Pack wars are disastrous and many end up dead. You did well with Tala and Zeeb," I comforted her.

"I have a feeling my children already suspected I liked you. Tala always kept hinting that we would make a good match, "Luna laughed.
