The journal that follows is written by hand with a fountain pen and is rarely updated, especially since he spends much of his time working or relaxing these days. Or conversing with his wife whom he believes is a superior method of relieving his worry, discomfort, and stress…

Even so, the writer feels the need to provide an update in black and white, particularly because of his past when he suffered a bout of temporary amnesia for a time. In order to record his thoughts due to that uncomfortable and unhappy event since it included his wife before they got married, he has decided that what he needs is a tangible object to write his thoughts and daily happenings down.
