(The promised extra chapter. If we get to 150 Pwr stone, I'll drop another. Im generous with release coz it's Lunar New Year soon and I'm half Chinese.)
After a week sailing on the sea, the ship finally arrived at its destination.
The Naval base is modest, with few docks and buildings to host several facilities. But Adam couldn't help but notice the whole base felt abandoned. Well, it's really good if that's the case since he can bring everyone down on the ground.
While Adam is being briefed about his duty, his guide said the other batch of KANSEN will be delivered in their Wisdom Cubes and Adam would have to construct their body himself since there's really no other facilities capable of constructing shipgirls in quantity more than one but this base that conveniently have construction facility prepared here and collecting dust as no no one seems to need it.
If he had to guess, he would say it's definitely something that his System arranged.
Anyway, once Adam had been given a tour around the base and briefed of his task. The ship left with everyone leaving only him, Winter and Enterprise. Adam starts to wonder if the Manjuu is real or if he has to hire staff to run the base.
Looking at the base, it was nothing like in the game.
First, the base is way bigger than what's shown in the game. If including the underground section of the base which housed most of the facilities like construction facility, repair facility, research facility, manufacturing facility, etc etc, the base is actually massive like an iceberg where most of the mass is hidden below the surface.
Second, this place is overrun by nature. The buildings are mostly in disrepair and are an actual safety hazard from what he can observe.
Thirdly, Manjuu are actually real because he found them while he was exploring the base on his own.
He poked the Manjuu which felt like he was poking a balloon filled with soft foam. They are like odd chick shaped stress balls. But they are currently inactive and not really moving at all. Adam called for Enterprise and then asked her if she knew how to activate these Manjuu.
"Ah, you would need a blank Wisdom Cube to activate them or anything that can basically act as a power source." Enterprise explains and points at the device which the Wisdom Cube or energy source needs to be inserted.
"So, they are actually robots?" Adam wonders in the shocking revelation.
"I don't really know." Enterprise also shook her head. "They are definitely organic creatures. Akashi and Vestal once tried to study them… but they are definitely not robots. Although, they are not living beings either."
"So… Aliens?" Adam made his guess despite already knowing they are basically just a mascot thing for the company that made the game. But he is curious.
"Maybe?" Enterprise is also unsure.

A while later, Winter returned with basically everyone excluding one of Agent's Dummies that is left on the Orbital Fortress in case of emergency and to continue her observation on the Siren and KANSEN of other factions.
"Woah! Beach!" Alices zoomed to the beach and played in the shallow water excitedly.
"Come on, Alice. Don't you want to meet Nii-san first?" Tina is quickly able to get Alice out of the water in a few sentences.
"Master!" Alice saw Adam who was approaching the group with Enterprise following behind him. Alices run and jumped to land with a hug with him. One after another they landed on him like a cannonball which made him fall to the ground at the fifth Alice despite his strength.
"Master! We missed you." They excitedly rub their face on him like they are marking him with their scent.
The others smiled as they watched because Alice is too innocent to have any hidden thoughts. If she was another person like maybe Tina, Jalter would have already pry them apart and tie her up a pole for cutting the line. But Alices is forgiven and allowed.
"I missed you too, Alice." He replied and made sure to give every one of them equal headpats.
Meanwhile, Enterprise is a little confused to see five identical copies of Alice being given headpat by Adam. At first, she wondered if they were quintuplets but after she sensed the peculiarities about Alice which she felt were similar to Agent, she dismissed those thoughts.
"Well, I welcome everyone to our new home. Although it is far from what I desired. This place will be our home for the foreseeable future." Adam said and about to ask Agent if she can renovate everything with construction mechs but apparently she already got to work before he could even ask.
The renovation will take a few days. So, they will be sleeping on the Orbital Fortress for a few more days. But during the day, they will be working on the base.
For Adam, he would be working closely with Agent on the details he wants on the new base. Jeanne wants to take over the cafeteria and run a garden farm. Siegfried is undecided but for now, he is observed to be constantly fishing on a pier and supplying Jeanne with seafood. As for Jalter, she isn't interested in any of the works and had only been helping around until one day Enterprise is doing a scouting mission because of the Siren activities near the base. She tagged along and now is excited to join Enterprise whenever she goes out to destroy some Siren fleet. As for Tina and Alices, they didn't really have any task to do and usually just ran around and helped whoever they met.
During the night, Enterprise for the first time boarded the Orbital Fortress and was shocked to learn Adam has a base bigger than the ISS in Earth orbit and no one else knows about it. She did enjoy the scenery of outer space which is beautiful and something she never experienced before.
On the third day, the renovation was completed and on the following day, the Wisdom Cubes delivery arrived.
A special agent with a briefcase cuffed to his own hand and rigged with explosives arrived and first diffused the bomb in front of Adam who was completely caught off guard before he was given the briefcases filled with ten Wisdom Cubes. He thanked the agent before they left immediately, leaving Adam with the briefcase as he giddily made his way to the construction facility which Agent said she upgraded to SF manufacturing standards or whatever that meant.
He went to the pod and placed the cube inside the pod and began the construction.
Immediately, the pod is filled with water and he sees literally bones, nerves, blood vessels and flesh is being assembled which look a little creepy. In the background, he can also see the ship of the shipgirl being constructed. This one has a massive frame so he assumes either a Battleship or Aircraft Carrier.
Looking at the timer, it states 119:59:15. Adam already figured it's gonna take a while and without the magical item to speed up construction, he could only anticipate and wait eagerly. He continues to place another nine Cubes into the construction queue which can only accommodate two simultaneous construction.
"This could take weeks." Adam sighed and everything is proceeding well although too slow for his own liking.
There's literally nothing else he can do for now in regards to his job as a Commander other than waiting for at least when he can assemble a fleet. Before that happens, he can't really organise anything sortie for the purpose of gathering 'material' other than patrols around the base which is handled by Enterprise.
Due to that, Adam brought Agent with him to steal some jet blueprints and some actual fighter jets for the purpose of his experiment to try and equip shipgirls with much more advanced weaponry instead of being stuck with WW2 weapons.
Yes, some may argue. Those shipgirls are WW2 ships for a reason and equipping them with more advanced weapons will ruin the aesthetic and historical value.
To those kinds of people, go and reflect on yourself. Siren literally has laser cannons and he will use all the advantages he can get to win.

In the GFL world.
"It's been quite a while since I was last here." Adam breath in the fresh air as the abandoned town is reclaimed by nature and filled with greens and trees.
"Any criteria for the fighter jet you are looking for, Master?" Agent asked, ready to perform her duty.
"Look for US fighter jets and they have to be compatible for aircraft carriers. Also, can we steal a Jupiter Cannon? I like to have a real one on the base." Adam added as he also intended to develop a new type of cannon to replace the ballistic cannons.
"Of course, it's just a trivial matter." Agent nodded and said.
But, before they could fully plan out the heist. They were interrupted by waves of enemies appearing in the area.
"Well, we will continue once we deal with them." Adam said while he took out his gun, the Hornet sniper rifle which he wanted to test.
Both Adam and Agent work in synchrony as they fight against the army of SF mass produced Dolls. Agent easily gunned down the light armoured and usually fast target with her rapid firing laser cannons while Adam sniped the more heavily armoured target with his sniper. However, the Hornet now shoots a special ammunition after he slots in the gemstone containing the Outer God's soul. The victim will basically be poisoned and inflicted with diseases which weaken and if lucky, cripple them. Not even inanimate objects are safe as they can also be affected which extend to robots too.
When one of the SF dolls died, their body melted by the poison and exploded which splashed the other nearby dolls with the similar poison that caused a chain reaction that reduced their number from hundreds to zero very fast. Even Agent was surprised because this is the first time Adam really shows the prowess of the gun. Or rather, the gemstone containing the Outer God's soul.
"That's very impressive." Agent exclaimed and looked very impressed with the gun. But Adam didn't as he said, "It's also dangerous since friendly fire is a real thing." Adam put away the Hornet and took out his trusty shotgun, Ronson 5X5 instead.
Agent didn't argue with Adam's opinion on the weapon being dangerous and instead changed the topic. "I already found the location of the jets. Let's go."
"Hmn. Let's go." Adam nods as he teleports both of them back to the Orbital Fortress and then Agent shows the location on the main screen before Adam teleports them into a US military base to steal the jet first and then the manufacturer to copy the blueprint.
When they arrived, Agent hacked into the base and provided Adam with a map and route to take before he turned on the Cloaking mode to sneak into the base and yoinked a few fighter jets under the confused eyes of the soldiers. By the time they realised someone is stealing the jets, Adam already left with Agent and a few multimillion dollar fighter jets sitting in his inventory.
They did the same when infiltrating the manufacturer to steal a copy of the blueprint. It would be easier if they kept a digital copy of the blueprint as Agent can simply hack their system. But probably because of Doll's existence and the whole android uprising in this world, they didn't dare risk it and instead kept a physical copy.
Infiltration was relatively easy since the facility was guarded mostly by machine and only a few human security guards. Agent took over most of the security mechs and his infiltration went as smooth as butter.
With the blueprint, he can manufacture his own Jets using his System since they are considered technically as weapons for the shipgirls and hopefully he could Augment them too because it would definitely be very overpowered if he could.
Anyway, time to get back home and experiment on outfitting Enterprise rigging with modern weaponry.
"Wait, we almost forgot the Jupiter Cannon!" Adam just remembered as he was about to Dimension Jump back home.
"No worry, Master. I already took care of it." Agent reassured as she shows the mechs unloading the said cannon from a dropship.
Somehow, she already did it without him noticing. Very reliable as always.
"Thanks, Agent."
"It's my duty, Master." The humble Agent didn't accept the praise as it is merely what she is expected to do.
Anyway, it's really time to go home. The Orbital Fortress teleported away after a few successful heists.

(Extra)
"Hmn. What are they doing?" Dreamer were happen to be in the area and saw a few dozen mechs dismantling the Jupiter Cannon.
She wasn't alarmed because those mechs are undoubtedly SF mechs although they seem to be heavily modified to be for construction or maintenance work because they were carrying no weapon at all.
Dreamer approached the mechs and tried to inquire what they were doing but then she found a sign hanged on a barricade put around the Jupiter Cannon that indicates dangerous work in progress.
"Maintenance authorised by Mastermind?" Dreamer is a little confused but since it's literally impossible for Griffin to impersonate the SF mechs, she shrugs and figures it must be legit. So, she strolled off. Ignoring the heist that is in progress.
Few hours later, Dreamer were summoned by Mastermind to ask why a Jupiter Cannon in the area under her jurisdiction was missing.
"Huh? I thought Lord Mastermind ordered it to be taken down for maintenance work." Dreamer answered the obvious question only to meet with the seething anger of the Mastermind.
"You fool! If it's just maintenance work, there's no need to disassemble the damn cannon! I can believe this! I am actually surrounded by idiots!" The Mastermind raged and wished she still had Agent so she didn't need to deal with these idiots and let Agent handle them like before.
Dreamer could only shiver in fear of the enraged Mastermind.
"You better find the cannon or else, I'll have your head. Now get lost from my sight before I shoot you here and now."
Dreamer quickly scurried away while Mastermind lamented why can't there be any competent person under her command. Ever since Agent disappearance, everything had been going downhill for her.
