Isabelle was in the gardens, admiring the beauty of the day, and enjoying the peace of the garden.
It wasn't that little hideaway spot Vaughn had hidden her in earlier.
That did have its own sort of charm, though.
No, this was the private royal gardens. Only her family, closest friends and advisors, and personal guard and servants could be there.
No bustling and noisy guests.
She wasn't the sort of person to usually care for the whole...

It was amazingly busy in the palace, and the city below wasn't any better.
For whatever reason - likely the work of Octavian, Luther, or Archibald behind the scenes - there was an incredibly large amount of people ready to celebrate and make merry over her getting married.
Even though it wasn't even her first marriage.
Though.
It was her first wedding, she supposed.
But that probably didn't matter much.
