Capítulo 278: I'm not paralyzed with fear, I'm considering each option carefully

Snowball sat on the counter as a servant hurried in with a dish of freshly cooked meat for him, along with a small saucer of milk.

She giggled softly as she watched Snowball almost try to dive into the glass of milk headfirst.

He squeaked and pawed at the saucer.

She scooped him up and set him back on the table an inch or two away from his food.

The little kitten lurched forward and stuck his face in the milk again like he were starving.

At least he wasn't in danger of dumping the saucer this time.

He lifted his head out of the milk with his little white face dripping. He slurped as if it were the most delicious thing in the world.

She grinned and grabbed a cloth, and gently wiped his face off, chuckling softly.

Snowball mewed and rolled around for a moment, as if trying to avoid her, but he settled down quite easily when she stopped.
