The dragons themselves dared not challenge him, starting the divide between the Purple Dawn and the Holy Continent that carried on to this day.

A series of interconnected blood rays linked one monarch to the next, going from Hadubrangr all the way down to Gaiseric. But here, the situation took a turn that the late king hadn't seen coming.
