The next morning, William Cole got up early and directly headed for the campus of the Chinese Medicine College to take part in the Medical Conference competition.
He arrived at the college around seven and found some staff members had already arrived at the venue laying out everything needed for the competition.
"William Cole, you're here so early."
Seeing Elder Hayes make his appearance, he walked towards William Cole, hands folded behind his back.
William Cole smiled warmly, "Elder Hayes, why are you here so early? Aren't the referees supposed to arrive at nine?"
Elder Hayes shook his head gently, "I didn't go home yesterday, stayed here on campus."
"Can't sleep much being old, so I woke up early and thought I'd take a stroll."
"I'm old as hell, don't know how much time left for me, thought I might just walk when I can."
"Elder Hayes, you should live till at least ninety-nine," laughed William Cole.
Elder Hayes, however, sighed, "No can do."
