Today, when Minnie phoned, Ruth Dawn's first reaction was to respond rudely.

Minnie's voice was grave: "Ruth Dawn, Thirteen Pharmaceuticals is in trouble."

"Early this morning, someone came with tax returns demanding a thorough investigation of Thirteen Pharmaceuticals' accounts."
