Capítulo 4: Zenith
As the boss walked outside onto his balcony, he noticed that the door was open and the curtain was being blown by the night wind. He raised his voice and shouted, "Group of GE, I have summoned you all!" The sound of his voice echoed around, and instantly, the members of the GE group appeared behind their boss. Startled, the boss turned around to see twelve individuals wearing black full robes with hoods. One of the GE group members walked up to the boss, and everyone, including the approaching member, bowed down. The member said, "Yes, sir, we are here in response to your call."
Taking a deep breath, the boss spoke, "About Hansen..." He paused as the wind blew, and then he said, "He's dead." The GE group lifted their heads in shock and exclaimed, "Sir Hansen is defeated?!" Panic filled their voices, but the boss raised his hand, silencing them. He continued, "It seems like we are up against a much stronger individual, someone who poses a greater threat to us. I want all of you to take down this person, dead or alive, whichever you choose."
The GE group, without uttering a single word about Hansen, responded in unison, "Yes, sir!" The boss looked at them with a serious expression and added, "You better find out if it's a he or a she..." The members vanished from sight, disappearing into the shadows. The boss let out a heavy sigh, realizing the gravity of his words. He muttered to himself, "Damn, it was quite intense to say that to the GE group. It felt like a little fear, considering I haven't interacted with them for nine years..."
Turning his attention to the moon, the boss gazed at it and whispered, "We are challenging the word of God..." The wind blew as he turned around and walked back inside, closing the door behind him.
[Ten hours later…]
Zanki Yoru woke up in the late morning with messy hair and a shocked expression on his face. He placed his hand on his head and whispered, "What is happening to my thoughts? It feels like they're shattering or something... It hurts!" He turned to look at his two Persuader guns and fixated his gaze on them. After just fifteen seconds, he grabbed both guns with his hands and placed them on his lap, saying, "I'm experiencing a strange feeling, but I can't quite comprehend it."
As he got up and started walking in circles, he suddenly stopped and placed his hands by his sides, stating, "I must have a headache, and it seems to have subsided." Zanki Yoru quickly dressed himself, putting on his brown hat and chaps, and placing his two Persuader guns in their holsters. He lifted his hat slightly with his hand and declared, "It's time to go out... to explore this entire town." With a smile on his face, he walked out the door and headed towards the elevator. Along the way, he noticed several people, aged between 30 and 40, looking at him. They whispered to themselves as he entered the elevator, "Is he a terrorist?" Feeling uneasy, he hurried out of the elevator and rushed towards an employee, giving him a quick glance and stating, "I'll be back."
The employee looked up and muttered, "You better not come back..." Zanki Yoru stepped outside and was greeted by the shining sun, tall buildings, and bustling streets filled with people. As he took in the scene, an old man accidentally bumped into him. Zanki Yoru grabbed onto the old man's hoodie, but the old man turned around and yelled, "Let go of me!" Zanki Yoru felt a strange impact on his head and seemed to be lost in his thoughts. Slowly, the old man said, "I said, let go of me." Zanki Yoru snapped out of his daze, released his grip on the old man, and watched as he quickly got up and ran away. Zanki Yoru placed his hand on his head and muttered, "Really?! There's something very strange about me."
He started dashing through the streets, dodging people and traffic lights. In a matter of seconds, he covered a distance of twenty-seven blocks. People who were on their way to work were astonished, exclaiming, "What was that? It was so fast!" As Zanki Yoru continued running, he noticed something ahead and exclaimed, "That's a drugstore!" Despite the loud sounds produced by his cowboy boots, he reached the drugstore and swung open the door. Just as he was about to shout, "I need something for my headache," he heard a loud explosion in the background. He slowly turned around and said, "Huh?"
As the explosions continued to grow louder and louder, accompanied by the screams of people, three large buildings nearby started collapsing rapidly. Zanki Yoru whispered to himself, "Now it's in my head, and chaos is unfolding." However, he didn't feel fear and reminded himself, "I have high hopes, I've trained extensively, and I have loved ones to protect. I better investigate this situation."
Zanki Yoru ran towards the source of the explosions, passing by the terrified people who were fleeing from the scene. Meanwhile, a middle-aged man wearing a white robe stood with an evil smirk on his face. He said to the onlookers, "I'm getting bored. I need a worthy fight right now." The man in the white robe attempted to unleash explosions towards two women and a young boy.
In a split second, Zanki Yoru intervened, grabbing the three individuals and pulling them away from the danger. The man in the white robe was unaware of what had happened and unleashed the explosion, creating a massive impact in the area. As the smoke cleared, the man realized that the three individuals were no longer there. He exclaimed, "Did I obliterate them completely?!"
Suddenly, the man noticed the trio running away in the distance. He raised his hand, trying to figure out what had happened. From behind, Zanki Yoru spoke up, saying, "Hey! It's a mess to play the hero here, but this place is filled with goods I rely on to survive. I won't let you harm innocent people." The man in the white robe, without engaging in conversation, attacked Zanki Yoru with another explosion. However, Zanki Yoru evaded it effortlessly.
In his thoughts, Zanki Yoru wondered, "I didn't expect my body to perform such incredible feats. Well, if there's a connection to the mess in my head, it must be related." The man in the white robe turned towards Zanki Yoru and commented, "Wow, you're fast, kid. But I won't let these guys live because I want a tough fight. However, ever since you arrived, things have changed. Now, I will fight you!"
The man in the white robe charged at Zanki Yoru with great speed, but Zanki Yoru, feeling a mix of shock and bravery, lifted his Persuader guns and shouted, "BANG!" The sound echoed as the bullets hit the man in the white robe's head, causing it to disintegrate into atoms. The loud blast created a shockwave around Zanki Yoru, who covered his face for protection. When it was over, he looked at the lifeless body of the man and smiled in relief, saying, "I won again, against a magic master?! Strange... I wonder why they were destined to be evil, like two beloved siblings."
Surveying the destruction around him, Zanki Yoru noticed that five buildings were completely destroyed, roads were torn apart, and countless living creatures, including humans, lay burnt on the ground. Overwhelmed by the sight, he felt tears welling up and said, "So this is how it feels when the weak face the strong... It's a sorrowful experience, witnessing the loss of life and property."
He held onto his chest, placing his weapons back in his chaps, and offered a prayer, saying, "Rest in peace, all of you." As the wind blew, carrying his words, Zanki Yoru stood there, affected by the tragic aftermath of the battle.
Zanki Yoru, having distanced himself from the scene without anyone recognizing him as the one who defeated the man in the white robe, remained oblivious to the reactions of the two women and the young boy he had saved. The ladies smiled through their tears, expressing gratitude to the unknown savior. They remarked, "It was a young man who saved us." The bystanders, shocked by the revelation, questioned, "A kid saved you?" Meanwhile, the young boy, both shocked and elated, nodded in agreement, confirming their statement.
As the rain began to fall on the horizon, Zanki Yoru looked up and remarked, "It's raining... I suppose it'll help clean my clothes." However, a sudden realization struck him, and he exclaimed, "Oh damn, I forgot! The drugstore!" He realized he needed to return to the drugstore to address his persistent headache.
With that, Zanki Yoru made his way back, hoping to find relief for his throbbing head.
