Capítulo 3: Chapter -3, Training in Orange Island
Ash POV –
by the way professor where is Gary I did not see him since I got here.
Oak: well Gary, has gone out to train. And prepare for the league just like you.
Ash: I see, professor if it is fine can I ask your Dragonite to train my Charizard.
Oak: well that's not my discission to make if you can make him, agree then I don't have any problem with it.
Ash: thank you, professor. So do you know where I could find Dragonite?
Oak: well he usually now rest near the northern lake and I should warn you my boy, that Dragonite if he agreed to train you, will be like walking on hell. Is that ok with you?
Ash: yes, professor.
Saying that I left, to the lake. Soon after finding the lake. I called out to him and from the water came out a huge Dragonite that has an orange, dragon-like body with large, round wings that enable it to fly. Its kind and warm eyes give it an approachable expression, and it has small, three-toed feet. Dragonite's body is adorned with large, gentle-looking orange scales.
I remember him, when I was small and he used to watch me, Gary and other children when we came to the lab and looked at various pokemon.
Ash: Dragonite, do you remember me? You used to take care of me when I was little.
Dragonite just gave a happy nod and a tight hug.
Ash: I missed you to Dragonite, now Dragonite can I ask you a favour?
After telling him about my adventure and I also asked if he could train my Charizard. After a minute of thinking he agreed. I also then introduced Charizard and Dragonite and I could feel Charizard staring at Dragonite at AW, and then I explained that Dragonite used to be the Ace of Professor Oak, when he was the Champion of the Kanto region. And I also asked Dragonite about training my Pokémon especially Charizard, and Dragonite just stared at me and Charizard for a while, the stare was so intense if felt I was under a mountain and it felt like hours went by when it was only a few minutes, and then he agreed to my request. I was relived and Dragonite and Charizard flew away for training, I then went to professor Oak and told him about the meeting with Dragonite and asked if I can use his phone, to transfer a Pokémon of mine here, professor gave me the go ahead. I then went to find a call to Antheny to get my Primeape, and after a quick call got him back and we gave each other a hug and said goodbye to Anthey. I then went and introduced my Pokémon to Primeape and also selected the following pokemon I am going to take with me for the Orange Island and they were –
· Pikachu
· Bulbasaur
· Squirtle
· Krabby
· Primeape
· Muk
· Tauros
· Cyndaquil
· Piplup
· Treecko
· Chansey
· Onix
· Fearow
I had also started with teaching Mr. Mime Gravity to continue their training here in the lab and set up the training ground for them far from here to not harm or disturb other Pokémon. And I said to them that I will constantly rotate them for them to train with me, I then went home and told mom, my plan and she just nodded and gave me a tight hug, I also told her she was the best mom, and I would get her loads of gifts when I return. After a tearful goodbye, I then released Fearow.
Ash: Fearow, I choose you.
After releasing Fearow, I sat on his back and we took off, first on my destination was…..
Time-skip
Soon time passed I had an adventure in the orange islands, I got myself all the 4 orange island badges, I had challenged them to train and improve myself and I decided to challenge Drake after the indigo Legue and that was allowed and I could challenge Drake or the orange island champion when I am ready and the badges have a validity of 2 years and I have caught various Pokémon on my journey such as –
1) Crystal Onix - that I had sent to Professor Oak, where he will be sent for safety reserves owned by the Kanto Legue and so poachers and hunters don't try to attack or experiment on the poor thing.
2) Lapras – I had rescued them when I on my way to get my 1st orange island badge and I a rescued pod of Lapras from Poachers and would-be pirates and handed their to Officer Jenny, one of the young Lapras that was more battle oriented wanted to join me and he looked at his leader and after a few minutes between each other gave a nod of acceptance and I could guess was the mother while sad, her son was going away still gave a tearful goodbye and I gave my promise to make him strong and return here to show them how strong he had gotten.
3) Snorlax – was the next to join me, I had captured him when he was swimming in the ocean towards a island's full of fruits and I had remember what happens in the anime and to protect, the peoples livelihood I decided to capture him, and he was an absolute tank in my team.
4) Persian – was an unexpected Pokémon, I had captured her along with his clowder of 10 Meowths that were stranded on a inhabited island that I had stopped to train, and in that 4 were males and 6 females and I had planned to give mom, the youngest one to make her happy as I knew she adored young kittens when we were young.
5) Haunter – that I caught on a abandoned boat and as I didn't have any ghost type Pokémon and the one Haunter in saffron city I left with Sabrina was never mine as I never caught him, so I decided to battle him and catch him and he can also provide mom, help in the shadow and help me, by staying in my shadow and he prefers that, he will not get into a poke-ball unless its absolutely Necessary.
6) 3 Evee – the last Pokémon's I caught were a total surprise as I had caught 3 Evee siblings that were all battle junky's and challenged me when I was going for my 3rd badge and had agreed to be my Pokémon if I defeated them on a 3 on 3 battle and oh boy where they strong. And after a good battle they we quick friends. I also showed them the 3 Eve-evolution and the 2 females wanted to be a Flareon and Vaporeon and the last one and only boy wanted to be a Jolteon.
And the 3 Evee just recently Evolved into Flareon, Vaporeon and Jolteon, and I was able to acquire, the fire stone and water stone from poke-mart it was bit expensive but not much of a damage and I already had a thunder stone for Jolteon, given by nurse Joy, not only my Evee's that evolved some of my old Pokémon also evolved and those that evolved are –
· Pidgeotto – evolved into a Pidgeot during the 2nd gym battle
· Cyndaquil – the next to evolve into a Quilava, in a 3-way fight
· Piplup – also evolved into a Prinplup, in a 3-way fight
· Treecko – also evolved into a 3-way fight into Grovyle
· Bulbasaur - had also decided to evolve after 5 consecutive loss to his junior, during our sparring sessions and after the whole new island fiasco and losing to his juniors broke the camel back I think he decided to evolve into Ivysaur and getting back his honour of becoming a senior member and learned that evolution is not that bad, and he was approx., twice the normal size of an average Ivysaur.
· Squirtle - had also decided to evolve after 5 consecutive losses to his junior like now currently Ivysaur., during our sparring sessions and after the whole new island fiasco and losing to his juniors broke the camel back, I think he decided to evolve into a Wartortle and getting back his honour of becoming a senior member, like his friend and learned that evolution is not that bad, and he was approx., twice the normal size of an average Wartortle like his friend Ivysaur.
· Krabby evolved into Kingler during Training.
7 of my old Pokémon evolved during the 2 months intense training and I also made sure that I and all my Pokémon are training under the heavy gravity that are made my Chansey and Mr. Mime and Chansey was able to learn a lot of healing moves and perfect them due to repeated uses and also learning from many other Chansey's from Pokémon centres and of course from Nurse Joys permission, I think they were thrilled that a trainer wanted his Pokémon to learn these moves, I also made sure that Mr. Mime knew about my plan and he was all for it, her wanted to protect his trainers mother and he also wasn't much of a battler and he was okay with that. I also trained my other Pokémon's and they were coming along nicely and I made sure that none of my Pokémon stay fit and fine and I also trained them their resistance and thought them moves no counter attack the for types their weak against and I also met Charizard for 2 days, for training with me and ow boy did the training with Dragonite had a affect, he had grown at least by 10cm, he learned various moves, his orange scales were much darker and hotter and his flames in his tails and fire power were also much hotter than before. I also instructed him to try and learn the elemental punches from Dragonite and I was happy with my Pokémon's Progress. In these 2 months and almost all of them grown and gotten stronger and I made sure to train with all my Pokémon's at least once, and talk to them daily and checked their progress on my Poke-Dex and I also made sure to always keep Pikachu and Chansey with me at all times.
Soon I was on the Viridian Port, and the day registration for the Indigo league starts and used Pidgeot to get their as fast as possible and with her speed we were able to reach the Indigo league by 2 hours, I first went to the registration desk.
Ash: hello Nurse Joy, I would like to get registered for the Indigo Legue.
Nurse Joy: certainly, young man. I would be happy to help you, I just need to see the official 8 gym badges of the Kanto Region.
Ash: here you go, nurse joy.
As I said that I gave her my case of badges, yeah during my stay at the orange island I bought myself 2 badge holders for the Kanto and Orange Leagues, as I didn't want for them to be lost or I forget them in my jacket or worse get broken, so I got myself a case to safely protect them. Soon nurse joy gave me the badge case back.
Nurse Joy: now, Ash Ketchum you are registered for the Kanto league and now could you press this button to see which field will you be your first match.
As I pressed it, on a screen it showed 4 symbols, Rock, Water, Ice and Leaf and after rotating for a good 30 seconds it stopped at the ice symbol.
Nurse Joy: now Mr. Ketchum, your first match will be on the Ice field at 12:00 PM, 6 days from now, now Mr. ketchum do you have any guest with you?
Ash: yes, my friends, mom will come.
Nurse joy: very well, these are the keys of the cabin that you and your group will stay, and here is your guide book, this has all regulation on the Kanto Legue and spots you can train and sight seeing spots. May you have a wonderful time at the league.
Ash: thank you, nurse Joy and hope you a good day to you.
Saying that I left the registration desk and went to my cabin and my cabin number is 06, and according to the map the cabin I am staying is nearby and near to the Pokémon centre.
