As Jordan walked out of the room. He felt so relieved that he had managed to convince Neya. He thought that he would take a lot of time and effort trying to convince her but it did not turn out the way he thought it would be. He then thought his threats might have caused her to accept so easily.
Jordan did not really mean it when he said that she would face the consequences if she disobeyed. He was only wanting to instil fear into her heart so that she could easily accept so that he could go on with his next move . Jordan would never harm anyone for no reason. Especially anyone who was innocent. He would not dare hurt Nahor's future wife. He was not that kind of person. He was a kind and understanding person. He was only pretending to be a cruel person so that Neya could listen to him but soon afterwards he was going to show Neya his true self.
There was only one more thing left to do since Neya had accepted the marriage.
Now he still had one more difficult task to do and that was to convince Nahor. Nahor was not that nice kind of a person. He was a cruel person. Any mistake made would mean immediate punishment. Everyone had made sure that when they were around Nahor they would behavior themselves and show the most respectful attitude. They would not dare anger him in anyway. If they did not want their heads off they had to behave themselves Infront of him. Nahor would not tolerate any disobedience or disrespect.
Jordan had not yet told Nahor about the marriage. He had planned to first convince Neya into the marriage before telling Nahor and convincing him into it. To convince Nahor into the marriage would not be an easy task. It would take a great miracle for him to easily accept to do what anyone wanted him to do.
He didn't have any idea on how to do that. Besides he had not yet told Nahor that he was arranging his marriage. He knew that Nahor would be so angry at him but he did not mind that. He was only doing this for Nahor in the first place. He was ready to do anything to see a smile on his face.
Then Sami just appeared out of nowhere."You almost scared the life out of me!Stop doing that!", Jordan said.
"Enough with your wining, now tell me, have you made the deal?" Sami asked.
"Of course I have. But there is one more problem,"Jordan said.
"And what may that be,"Sami asked.
"I have not yet talked to Nahor about the marriage and I do not know whether he is in a good mood or not right now. If I do know him well, then I know he will not accept this marriage. I have to figure out a plan to do that. I am only doing this for his well being. All I want is the best for my friend. He is like a brother to me. I cannot bear to see him like this!"
"Ever since that incident that happened a long time ago,he has been looking so distressed. He cannot stop thinking about it despite the long time that it has been. Every day he reminds himself of that tragic day. He cannot seem to forget it. He even started distancing himself from everyone because he could not recover from what happened. He changed so much. I cannot bear to see him like this."
"I am only doing this so that he can at least be happy. I know Neya is the right person fit for this job. She can cause the change in him. I believe in her." Jordan said.
Jordan had absolute trust in Neya. Why wouldn't he? He had looked everywhere for the perfect woman but he could not seem to find one. It was when all hope was almost lost that he saw Neya. Just one glance at her he knew that she would be perfect for the job. There was something about her that made her unique from the others . When he saw her for the first time he had this feeling that she would be perfect for the job. She had this way that made him feel that he could rely on her for anything. Jordan knew that Neya would not disappoint him. He trusted her and he knew that she would do the task.
"You are right Jordan, but may I know this Neya whom you speak of is?"
"Oh! My apologies Sami. I forgot to tell you. She is Nahor's future bride and soon to be wife. And I just remembered I have one more difficult task to do and if you would excuse me I would like to go and convince Nahor into this. I will take my leave now"Jordan said as he left.
Sami was left with so many questions in his mind to ask. About how he got to convince Neya and how he was going to convince Nahor and what he was going to do after wards and so many other questions. But Jordan had just walked away. Jordan was the only one who could give him the answers that would satisfy his questions. Now he just looked on as he saw that person leave. He could not stop him because what Jordan was going to do was more important than the answers to the questions he had. He had to be more patient. If he did manage to convince Nahor then it would mark a beginning of a new change.
"I do not know what nosense idea just popped into that boy's head but I hope it will be able to convince Nahor. If he manages to that, then it will mark a new beginning for all of us. Oh Jordan. I hope what have in mind successfully works"Sami said to himself.
