Capítulo 29: Happy Ever After...Or Not

Hannah's POV

It had been a week since I'd returned to New York, and being the woman I was, I decided to pay my outstanding debt to Hwan.

Smoothing down my red bodycon dress, I walked into Le Bernadine – a very expensive French restaurant. Clearly, Hwan was taking this date very seriously if the location was anything to go by.

After confirming my reservation with the receptionist, I strutted over to my table where Hwan was already waiting, my metallic sandal heels clicking against the floor.

I smiled when I reached him, matching the expression on his face. Getting up to greet me, we shared a small hug and I used the opportunity to check him out.

He was wearing a dark blue blazer with a white turtleneck and navy pants. He finished the look off with black loafers and cute round glasses.

I was impressed.

"You look beautiful, Hannah."

"I could say the same about you, Hwan. Love your shoes, by the way."
