Capítulo 13: Chapter Thirteen

Rafiq burst through the doors of his chambers, his phone clutched to his ear. Rashida, who had been admiring her new dress, started at the sound of the doors banging open. She blinked, tilting her head quizzically as she watched Rafiq shout at whomever he was speaking with on the phone.

"I do not care! Just do as I have told you, simply tell them I could not attend because of more pressing matters I had to attend to without fail! Yes, yes." He said before ending the call and chucking the phone across the room. The gadget hit the wall and broke into pieces, rendered useless.

"Omar!" Rafiq pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Your highness?" A servant rushed through the double doors that Rafiq had just walked through not even a minute before.

"Get me a new phone, same number." He ordered.

"Right away." The man disappeared as quickly as he had appeared.
