Lua swiftly moved out of the way until the skull finally stopped moving. He didn't dare look away during this. The skull and body were now next to each other.
But this had proven something to Lua - the skull and body acted separately. While Lua wasn't looking at the head, the body hadn't moved in the slightest. It had also proven that the body stopped moving intentionally, rather than binded by some unknown force. The fact that the head kept rolling even after Lua stopped looking proved that.
Theoretically, Lua could smash the skeleton to pieces. Then, the skeleton wouldn't be able to move anymore, as it would be just dust.
Lua decided to try that. He charged the flame rune in the mechanical gauntlet and prepared to enter combat. However, as he slowly approached, something unpredictable occurred.
The snowstorm that had been weak up until now, suddenly intensified, reducing visibility to a mere two metres. Lua noticed the danger and yelled out,
