On a calm lake, in an unknown spot in a certain mountain range. A young girl with dashing golden hair sat at the end of a pier, fishing for any type of animal she could catch. Her family wasn't very well off, and they often relied on fishing to feed themselves and to sell said fishes in a market at the town below.
The food would undoubtedly spoil due to the long distance between the lake and the market, which meant they could only sell in winter when the air was cold and they could bury their products in the snow. It was a tough life.
"You can let the adults do this, you know." A female voice was heard from behind the girl. She looked up and while showcasing her gloomy expression, she said:
"I need to help out… for mama and papa."
The woman smiled grimly and sat down next to her. They sat there without a word as they watched the line bob gently in the morning wind. The sun was still just rising, causing a rather serene twilight.
