"Congratulations, Midori-san! You are ten weeks pregnant," Susan Stafford announced as she turned to look at Midori, who sat in front of her.

Midori blinked at her several times in disbelief before she put a hand against her abdomen, greeting the small bean growing within her.

"Pregnant, really."

"Yes! Oh, Ame-chan is going to be so happy to have a little brother or sister!"

Midori's lips curled up into a smile.

"By the way, has the hospital procured a so-called ultrasound device to check the fetal heartbeat?"

"Ultrasound device? What's that?" Susan stared at Midori in confusion, but the latter merely chuckled while shaking her head.

"Never mind. Thank you, Susan."
